The fight with most needle on September’s Riyadh season Wembley card seems to be Willy Hutchinson vs Joshua Buatsi.
Footage from behind the scenes at the launch press conference, plus the pre-fight face off show, is testament to that.
Hutchinson (18-1) 13 knockouts, is coming off an impressive performance against Craig ‘Spider’ Richards that took place on the Riyadh card in June.
Hutchinson was an 11/10 outsider, but never really looked in trouble against Richards, controlling the majority of the fight.

Hutchinson won the fight by unanimous decision, setting up this mouth watering clash with Joshua Buatsi.
It’s been eight years since Buatsi won a bronze medal at the Rio Olympics and it’s fair to say that he hasn’t reached the heights he thought he would by this point.
Buatsi is unbeaten with a record of 18-0 with 13 knockouts, but has not fought for a world title. The best win on his record is Craig ‘Spider’ Richards who he beat by unanimous decision back in May 2022.
Injuries and promotional issues with Matchroom have stalled Buatsi’s career, but at 31 years old, it’s time for Buatsi to really push on.

His fight with Hutchinson is for the WBO interim world title.
With the huge Bivol vs Beterbiev clash taking place on 12th October, a win on the Wembley card could see elevation to a full title, or become first in line for a title shot, in the near future.
Buatsi is the bookies favourite at 4/9 while Hutchinson is 12/5.
It’s one of the most intriguing fights on the card and one that both will want to look impressive in, in front of Turki Alalshikh.
